Chrystal Proue

Eight years of experience working with children in Montessori and Reggio-inspired and Resources for Infant Educarers (RIE) learning environments in Seattle and Portland. Currently, they are a graduate student in the Early Intervention and Early Childhood Special Education Program at Portland State University. Chrystal co-founded an anti-bias focus group at Helen Gordon, which met monthly to deconstruct white supremacy culture through the lenses of decolonization and privilege. They hold a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education with a concentration in mathematics and an Early Childhood Montessori Certification. Actively engaged with learning to drive, garden, boulder, build meaningful connections, infant and toddler development.
