Qahir (he/she) is a retired professional and worked in the early child education field for 25 years. She has worked at Volunteers of America (VOA), as the Program Developer and Director of the first replication of the Family Relief Nursery program and Division Director for Family and Children Services at VOA. Planning and implementing the curriculum with preschool age children at Albina Head Start as a Teacher and assistant, Oregon Museum of Science Industry ECE Science teacher and supervisor in the Piagetian ECE Science lab. Has extensive experience training adult learners for the Oregon Association for the Education of Young Children Statewide Anti-bias Train the Trainer. TOJC trainer and facilitator. Teacher in the Sufi Ruhaniat Institute (Eastern Spiritual Tradition), Umpqua and Rogue River Indian, and Filipinx; Tribal Elder; Currently middle class (grew up poverty) Gender fluid/non-binary Pansexual.
