Education has been my passion in life ever since I was a young child and would play school. I took this passion and worked to earn a degree in Early Childhood Development & Education at MHCC. I have been co-learning in the field for 7 years, while pursuing a next step of facilitating with Threads of Justice Collective.
Every day I learn something new and have loved learning alongside children and adults. My work in the field is focused on empathy and emotional awareness, and I use these tools to help me scaffold development and build relationships with my students in classroom settings.I also care deeply about family partnership, cultural diversity, and community building and am excited to see every person from child to adult grow and shine. I am a new member of the board of TOJC, and I am looking forward to the new experiences and to support the collective.
